About Us

Concordia Elementary School is located on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in San Clemente.  Founded in 1955, Concordia is rich in history and tradition. Many parents attended Concordia as students themselves and maintain a vested interest in the school. An active Parent Teacher Association and Education Foundation (SPLASH) support and enhance the instructional program.

Concordia’s unique geographic location contributes to a diverse student body.  The school is nestled between the San Clemente State Park and the homes of Cypress Cove.  The welcome presence of military families at Concordia contributes to a powerful sense of patriotism at the school, as evidenced by the morning flag salute, led by students, each day.

Concordia Elementary School is a Professional Learning Community of dedicated individuals who are committed to providing a quality learning environment for a diverse student population.

Programs students enjoy at Concordia include a Science Lab, Makerspace Lab, Music in grades 4 and 5, art lessons for grades 1 through 5, Chromebooks for all students in grades 1 through 5, and many assemblies and field trips throughout the year.  SPLASH, our education foundation, supports Instructional Aides in Science, Art, Library, Computer Lab, Makerspace, and purchased Chromebook carts. The foundation also supports Teachers through Professional Development opportunities. Some of the ways PTA supports Concordia is by providing supplies, assemblies, and many other activities and items.

We are very proud at Concordia to have such great parental and community support!
